I was asking you guys out: How many of you were once soldiers in your country's armed forces? I am from PeeWee island from Singapore. I was drafted as a citizen soldier( according to the constitution) for 2 years and then discharged from service. Transferred to a Reservist Unit also called Militia Unit by the West. I find playing SOF2....well....somewhat amusing.....but in real life, bleh! I been thru the Thailand, Taiwan and Brunei........gah! it was tiring, exhausting and mind wrecking. But it left me an experience I cannot forget. Not that I resent drafting. I figured those who served their country's armed forces will go thru same as I or worse......

Me Singaporean too, but only a 'combat' driver. Now a Reservist, in 602SIR. Got ATEC end of this year, heard it's going to be tough, anyway boring and tiring for me. Only been to Taiwan last year, hot like ####! Btw, when are we Reservists gonna try on the new SAR21?. Personally I wish for the US M4 instead.

I guess not. M4 carbine is used by scouts and armor crew only.
We still use the good olde M-16.
The SAR-21 is for the newer recruits.

I'm from Switzerland where any man has to go to the army! I two weeks i have to show my ass for the entry test. But i'm sure they don't want me 'cause i'm so fucked up... i got a doubled discuss hernie... that's my free ticket for the army hehehehe
