I can't understand what everyone is whining about as far as FPS goes. I have everthing on the game maxed out, res @ 1024*768. My system is an AMD Athalon 900, 256 PC133 ram, G4 MMX 440 64 MB vid card, DirectX 8.1a, Win ME. I have no problems running this game, my FPS is around 30-40. I also have the FSAA set at 4xS. I'm the first guy to get on the back of game companies for putting out poorly programmed games, but you guys need to give Ravensoft a break. The graphics in this game are amazing: the shine on the edge of a pool of blood, the shadows that let you know a target is walking up to the doorway, the lighting. You are all too hung up on large FPS numbers. If my rig can run this game with the settings I'm using then you guys with systems twice as big as mine must have other problems.

Yes, those with machines superior to yours are having "other" problems that are affecting their frames per second. The other problems, that you are not having, are what they are complaining about.

i get 30-40 also and it's fine to me.

I perfer of have around 85fps as in combat it should only slow #### to 40 which is still smooth but 40fps average means in a fight you will get around 15~20fps! which is not realy playabe to alot of people!!

Second FSAA 4xS only works in DIRECT 3D!! This is a OpenGL game as such it will not work

40fps is acceptable with first person games although i wouldnt like to go much below that.
and in regards to the your all whiners post isnt this post just you whining?

not to start no drama but if ur fps is 30-40 and not below that but like 25 and under is when u get the slowness but "YOUGUYSAREALLWHINERS" kinda started a harsh topic when he started it with"I can't understand what everyone is whining about as far as FPS goes"

Yes it is nice to look up and see a 100fps but in reallity if u get a fps that high ur not usin ur card to the fullest. I try to keep my fps around 50 so when alot of stuf is being rendered it will only drop to like 30-40

like i said I dont want to start a war post this is just my opinion on fps  

another post where a person whines about other whiners who are whining about the thing that the person posting the post considered as whining which attracted much more attention from the whiners that were aimed at and the whiners now whine about not being whining about the thing that this (post) whiner is whining about.. and this goes on until u people will clutter up these boards with stupidest of discussions.. i remember discussing FPS like 2 weeks ago and now another whiner has something to post here.. wow.. people grow up there are other things in life better than whining over a game.. try to engage in healthier discussions like..
