how about you import the fog method used in MP into the SP game? i have noticed that the fog in multiplayer, especially in the randomly generated jungle missions is absolutely gorgeous and runs smooth as a baby's bottom

single player fog on the other hand looks dreadful, all grey and seems to have jagged lines, as if the fog is made of different lengths which quite aren't the same colour, and it knocks at least 40fps off your framerate having it on

is it possible for the next patch to remove the SP fog and incorporate the same kind of fog from MP RMG maps? i can post some screenshots of the two in action if you want for comparison

i dont know if MP was made by a different development team to SP, but the differences are massive, SP has fog everywhere including indoors which is slow and ugly, and MP has fog where it would be in real life and is really nice and fast

Yeah I like the fog in the jungle RMG's, it makes me feel like I'm in an actual rainforest.  Actually I like it in all the maps and it's also very plausible to have heavy fog/sand in the snow and desert.

There certainly is something odd about the fog in SP. Even with just Cull fog enabled, the fog is everywhere, even indoor levels. Maybe this was intentional, as it gives the game a dank, dreary, atmosephere, but it sure does eat up fps.
