Just checking in. This is the game I am waiting for, as the sequel to SOF was supposedly going ot be made using this engine.

So far, nothing has really changed.

The game is still undergoing testing and minor code changes.

Multiplayer modes have been testing and look great.

release is still slotted for mid November.

Interesting about the release is that Half Life 2 is is scheduled for release on November 14th while Doom III on November 15th.

I expect that Doom will not make it's projected release date because... well... what game ever does anymore?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh well (insert explatives here). I expect your right, history does not stand on the side of id releasing anything on time.

RAVEN is doing quake4... Dammit, Dammit, Dammit....

I hope they at least do a descent job at it... if quake 4 keeps the arena feel while also implementing the single player campaign and t the same time making the game different but also the same, I will be happy. To me then it will be a game worth trying.

Raven will most likely scrape every penny out of the engine before they give a descent set of tools out.....

hmmm getting old an synical. I think I'll stop before I go on to far. However I will say that some of the pics of the game are coming out very nice. If anyone is interested in me posting a couple let me know.
