my friend bought SOF2 about an hour ago, came home to install it and to his dismay has discovered that he cant find his key anywhere

here are the places he has looked:

front and back of manual
front and back of jewel case
under the CDs (where mine was hidden)
inside covers of manual (front and back)

could someone please explain how he can either find his key in some other secret hidey hole or how he can obtain a working key without any extra cost (he has paid for the game, which should be enough)

Return it where he bought it and exchange it for another one.
That's all I can say.

Yeah, we all lost out cd keys!! How about you post a couple hundred of valid ones here!

lol, is this even true? Was there cd's sent out without a key... I find this hard to believe unless the printers ran out of ink....

Like Ramrod says, if this is the case, it is a no-brainer man take it to the store and return it and I am sure they will give you another CD.

There were some SoF2 jewel-case inserts printed that did not have the CD-key stickers applied.
The best recourse is to exhange it where you bought it for another copy, and check the jewel case in the store to ensure it has a Key.

Atleast SoF2 actually has a cd-key to prevent people from just downloading the game, unlike JK2 (which in my opinion should have had a cd-key)
