AGPMem Nvidia suggest running this little tool to make sure you have the correct amount of AGP memory. If you don't see any AGP memory then you need new chipset drivers. This could be a problem if there aren't any newer drivers available. Either way, reporting your results back here would be very much appreciated.

4 - 29 fps in game. Here it is with SOF2 running in a window, if it means anything. Same numbers. How to: Start sof2 in a window (full screen = no in the menu) In console type, "in_mouse 0; vid_restart" hit enter. (in_mouse 1 or -1 to put it back depending if you use direct (1) input or windows (-1)) Your mouse is back to Windows, use the TAB & ENTER keys to navigate around SOF2 to load a saved game.

I was getting about 20 fps in a given area (P4 2Gig, Geforce4) and this utility reported that I had 0 AGP memory available. None. I installed the latest chipset drivers and now I get about 40 fps in that same area. The utility now says I have 128meg available.

Just thought I'd add my results. Same as Keith, I had 0 AGP mem from the check. Since updating the chipset drivers, my AGP is up to 128mb and my FPS have increased two-fold (in general). Although, I did have to upgrade my bios first to get the new chipset drivers to work at all.

Doesn't matter.... 0 AGP memory results in bad things, and that will be the case with the game running or not.

Here's what came up for me: Available: 133693439 Free: 128379887 Is this good, bad? I've had FPS problems as well, though not quite as severe as others. In the columbia mission, the game slowed down to under 20, sometimes dipping as low as 12. In enclosed areas, it's generally around 40 on average. I have a GeForce 4 Ti4400, Dell Dimension 8100, Pentium 1.4Ghz, 384 MB RAM, latest BIOS, NVIDIA drivers, etc. There are no chipset updates for my system at the moment. I play the game on 1024 X resolution (REFUSE to go lower than that - shouldn't have to), with many other "bells and whistles" turned off or low, V-sync turned on to avoid tearing.

Ramrod, how do you define not having a problem? Just curious. What is your frame rate when the tank blows up in the first mission in Prague for example? Mine plummets to 12. There are parts where I get 85 (com_maxFPS 85) though, but over all it usually hovers around 28 and falls in the teens during action.

I mean I can get through the game but, not enjoyably. I'm just curious if we see a "problem" differently or if there really are some people happily getting no less than 40-60 frames even in heavy AI situations.

i got 0 agpmem...:( what is it suppose to mean??? Athlon 1.2G w 512 Ram on a asus a7a266 (bios 1011 , chipset driver 1,07 integrated) GeForce2 Ti 64 megs (detonator 29,42) Sblive! Uptodate driver winxp

0 AGP memory == very bad performance Hunt down a chipset upgrade, install that and see if it gives you AGP memory and how it affects your Sof2SP performance.
