I had not tried the RMG until tonight. Been playing MP a lot and decided to see how it is. Not bad at all. It's more exciting than the SP because you cannot save during a mission. It's amazing how much of a stealth game this becomes when you know that if you are going to die you have to start all over. The sniper rifle and I grew very close during that one mission. :) Over all it was very fun. The building setups were a little too generic. I had several identical buildings with enemies in exactly the same location in each one. But over all very good. It even made good use of the dogs which I didn't expect. I played a level where I had to extract a briefcase and a few other things. Surprisingly the random generated level felt more like what I would imagine the real John Mullins doing than any of the missions from the Single Player Campaign. SP just felt like a movie come to life. This one felt pretty real.

"It's amazing how much of a stealth game this becomes when you know that if you are going to die you have to start all over"

I totally disagree with this statement above. And I loath this kind of thinking coming from any developer. I do love the sp RMG tho. Its amazing. Better than the SP game itself IMHO.
I have never been one to keep my finger on the quick save key. Never use it actually, until SOF 2 where I had to figure out where the end of the levels were so I could quick save, just incase the freaking game wouldn`t load into the next mission.... forcing me to play thru the mission before all over again to progress. lol Buggy mutha.

Having a save or set of saves has no basis on how a games mission plays out for me, and does not shape how I feel about playing a mission.
And, I do NOT want Developers to think by your statement above that by limiting saves they are doing the right thing.... for ALL players.  I`d sooner not buy their games at all if they start to pull features in the name of "forcing their game experience on me or any players".
That f*cking Dave stalker, producer for the AvP franchise tried this and it blew up in his face.

Boy you sure made a lot out of nothing there. I never said I thought the full game should be played that way. I was merely commenting on how the RMG felt. In SP I want my save games for sure. Not having saves all really held back several good games IMO. Hitman, IGI, Swat3, Mech Warrior 4 and there are others. This is an entire issue to itself with everyone having their own feelings on it. Seeing that the developers of the first two games mentioned have decided, under pressure from the community, to include save games in the sequals, I think we know where the majority vote lies. All I was saying is that for me not having a save feature in the RMG made me play a bit differently. I found I was a bit more conservative and planned my attacks a little differently. I would not want to be forced to play an entire game that way. But I don't mind it on the Random levels as it tended to, for me at least, make them a little more challenging. I did not in any way intend to or want to start up a debate on the save/no save issue.
