Sound crackling happens because you don't have OpenAL installed (included on first CD). I think the "Readme" file recommends installing it. After installing Open AL, sound is great -- real EAX -- and the whole game runs more smoothly. Also make sure all background programs are off and that AGP is functional. Our only criticism is water surface that looks like camouflage net. We get great water effects in our home-made games using Genesis engine. Randy 12, Mikey 10, and Jason 9.
