Is there anything besides updating the AGP driver for the Ali chipset i can do to increase the preformance in SOF2 i've updated everything. I have a 1.4 Ath 512 ram Geforce 3 ti200 hercules and its running XP any help would be thankful. btway this a freshly formated and reinstall computer i made and the fps are bottoming out when the ppl come out and in rooms where there is a lot of boxes in it and all the settings are on high 800X600 but the lighting is turned on off and so is antialasing and texture filtering is on off also. Thanks

Its a pcbits or chips M817LMR and i have updated the bios on that also

I had a pcchips mobo and I had combatibity issues with any card past geforce2 32 meg. That was an M810LR board though. Plus, what bios does it have?? Amibios? Can you set the agp rate and aperture size? or enable fast write? any advanced options?? I couldnt, so my card was stuck in 2x mode with fast write off. I traded in my mobo for an asus. I would recommend it as well. An Abit board is good too. Just looked at the manual for your board. It says you have that crappy simple bios. That could be your problem. Change out your mobo.
