Right click on your desktop shortcut to the single player demo and go to Properties.

The target should say "C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - SP Demo\SoF2.exe" +set com_multilingual 2 +set sp_language 0

Add +set lock_blood 0 to the target at the end and apply it.  When finished, the target should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - SP Demo\SoF2.exe" +set com_multilingual 2 +set sp_language 0 +set lock_blood 0

Launch the demo

Bring down the console with SHIFT + ~

Type menu lock and hit ENTER at the console.

Hit ENTER when prompted for a password in the lock menu.

Turn on the gore options.

i dont understand why you have to go threw all that to get it, was it a bug that it dont work in the demo straight away? I thought it was cos you guys didnt want kids to d/l it and see gore, but now your tellin em how to access it?

Well, long time no posting here. Even my old account has been deleted.  

The good thing is that this tip works for the full version too, which is quite useful for people who have a German OS on their system.

Honestly, I don't understand why I have to do the same thing everytime I start the game. If know laws over here are stupid and they're getting even worse, but I'm legally allowed to play the game in "Full gore mode".

I mean, there's going to be a special German version of the game which looks pretty good. Why should the English version check for language settings in the OS?
