Hello,

Here are some problems I am having, after purchasing/playing the game:

1. When switching between weapons, there are certain items I cannot switch to using the mouse wheel (although most weapons are accessible), certain items I pick up from within the game environment, such as the goggles for nightvision, etc, are not selectable when scrolling for it as a "next weapon" option; I would have to manually depress one of the numbered keys, on the keyboard, to access it. Hopefully you guys wll adress this soon and that all weapons or items found can be accessed through the mousewheel and "Next Weapon" action/binding. Maybe I'm not understanding the controls effectively, but I could not seem to find a key that provides a "Next Item" option/binding. I am using the latest drivers for my Logitech USB/PS-2 Wheel mouse.

2. I wish that when performing a crawling or crouching action, that a user would not have to constantly depress those buttons to perform the actions, but instead allow the user to depress those keys once. What I suggest that could help to release the crawl/crouch action, would be for allowing the user to make any forward/backward/etc, movements and/or pressing those crawl/crouch button again, which would automatically release the action, thus to allow the user to perform another action.

Please... this would definitely help relieve the stress on our fingers.

3. Enemies baddies seem to not really know that you are present in the environment in certain areas. When walking up to someone, the noise levels on my HUD go up to red bars, but the enemy seems to not sense I'm behind them and not turn around to inspect etc. In SOF 1, the AI seemed better at detecting/reacting to opponents' movements/noises or anything in the environment that made noises/movements. Even in the grassy areas, I believe that crawling or moving in it should allow the AI to sense there is something there. What would be nice too, is that if you move thru the grass, and that it actually could move as you go thru it.

4. Blood: Would be nice if you shoot or knife someone once before many times, that the blood actually has a dripping effect first, before splattering out to the extreme.

All in all this game kicks major ass, and I love it...My wife don't though, as I stay up late at night playing this :)

Thanx

P.S. I work in a SQA dept, so hopefully, the issues found might help.

well i can fix your issue with not being able to scroll thru all your items, you have to set it to do that. By default all it takes is pressing your "U" key. I can't remember what exactly it's refered to as but there are different weapon groupings you can select for you to scroll thru. Hitting the "U" key will give you access to everything you are holding.

Hmm,

I wish that all weapons/items could be controlled by just the mousewheel, so one would not have to go looking for other keys to press just to access some items.

I'll try setting that setting to "0".

Thanks.

Ok,

I'll try the "U" key. I'm assuming you only have to hit it once, and not have to hold it down? I'll play with the control options somemore to find out

Hmmm.  That AI problem you are having is really bizarre.  It almost doesn't make sense.  I can assure you that the AI is way better in SOF2 than SOF1.  Was there AI in SOF1... just kidding. ;) In SOF1, you could blow some guy's head off and their buddy would sit around scratching his ass.
I'm guessing that you have your difficulty level set too low, because most of the pansy-asses out there are complaining that the AI is too hard because they are TOO smart.  Whining little punks, I'd like to kick 'em in the nads and make them cry for their mommies.  Anyways, try uping the difficulty level and I'll bet you'll see some great AI reactions.

Oh Man, forgot about that, thanks. Maybe setting it to "Soldier of Fortune" mode will have the AI kick my ass a little more :)
