I hopeing someone can help me with this problem.
Im wanting my monitor to use a refresh rate of 85 Hertz (the max it can go to at 1024 x 768) which is no problem I just go to Display properties, Advanced then the Monitor tab, set it there and hit apply. I check to see if it's refreshing a 85 Hertz by pressing the button on my monitor, which brings up the size controls and also the refresh rate, it says 85 Hertz.
Now to the problem im having, when I start up Soldier of Fortune 2 , I check to see what refresh rate it's useing and it says 60 Hertz, I set the resolution in the game to 1024 x 768 so I don't understand why it's not runing a 85 Hertz.

Also if anyone knows the command to bring up the FPS in Soldier of Fortune 2 please let me know.

Assuming that you're using nvidia

http://www.guru3d.com/files/

go there, under :: Videocard Drivers :: Nvidia detonator drivers there is a utility called NVRefreshTool

it will modify your system registry settings for opengl refresh rate.

Here is another utility for tweaking your refresh rate but it's a little more detailed and it has other nice options. Take a look at it because it has some nice options. It's called PowerStrip
