Hello everyone,

I recently purchased SoF II and installed it on my computer.
I ran into the same problems of complete PC lockup and the microsoft errors...  I tried everyones ideas that I found on this message board and installed ALL the latest drives for my PC#1 and still no workee....  I then got the hair brained idea to try loading the game on my laptop (intel based) and the d*mn game worked great. Played it for over 2 hours straight.

I don't know if this will help the ideas that are floating around this message board, but here are the specs on the two computers that I ran the game on.

PC#1 (Complete FAILURE to run)
---------------------------------
Clone PC (custom built)
AMD Athlon XP 2100+ (1.7GHz)
Gigabyte GA-7VRXP Motherboard
256mb DDR 266 Memory
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb Video Card
17" LCD Monitor @ 1280x1024 (and lower)
20gb WD Drive
80gb WD Drive
Windows XP Pro w/ SP1a

PC#2 (Complete SUCCESS)
--------------------------------
Compaq Evo N1000c Laptop
Intel Pentium 4 1.18GHz
512mb DDR Compaq Memory
40gb Hard Drive
15" Display @ 1024x768 (and lower)
Windows XP Pro w/ SP1a

If anyone has some ideas about this fun *problem* let me know.

Thanks!

It looks like my disk 2 is corrupt. Is there another way I can get the textures0.pk3 and textures1234.pk3 files? Also, even after downloading the 1.03 patch I still can't play single player is it these two files that are causing the problem? It just simply doesn't even start a game.

I just got sof2 double helix and installed it. When going to play the game i get two errors, "sof2 cannot find any AGP memory available" and "please verify that your card is openGL compliant. If it is, please update the latest video drivers, see the readme txt for more details"
I dont know much about computers at all and so i have no idea what to do and am asking for help. Can anyone help me please?
