Hehe, college was starting soon, so i had little time, and i needed a computer fast.

Ok..So what do i do?
I found a DELL p4 1.3Ghz, which i must say was pretty pimped out for its 1200$ cost.
Well... lets say RIP.
Between it being a p4, and having a Dell built "you cant touch anything else you computer will blow up"  policy.. i sold it within a month to my parents and built my own.

Amd 1.4Ghz, which was stacked with the best u could get at the time with everything in it for 1400$... soo i was happy.

Well I bought this computer because I thought I was getting a pretty good deal on it.If I would've known what kind of problems I was going to have with an Hp I would of never even thought about buying this junk.I will sell it and hope I don't lose to  much on it.I started looking into some hardware yesterday to get a basic feel on what kind of system I'm going to build,What do you guys recommend as far as hardware goes?I would appreciate any suggestions.Thank You

i love my rig. Read my specs - it performs great and the price is right. Newegg.com is the best online place to buy parts. Cheap and won't screw you. Good Luck.

newegg.com does indeed own.  Plus, AMD prices dropped quite a bit recently. You can get an athlon 2000 oem for $144. You can pick up 256mb of pc2100 ram for around $50 and mobos for usually $100 or even less.

Just remember to get a good power supply and not a cheap one as it will save you a lot of issues in the future.

Cheers,
