I got Win 98 SE and DirectX 8.1 64 Mb GeForce 2 MX with 23.11 drivers 1.6 Ghz Athlon XP 256 Mb RAM I think Elite Force froze once for me, but I haven't really played it. I mainly play JK2 and get crashes or freezing at any time during any game (in both single and multi) and even at the menu
