i dunno i tried looking it up but i cant find out what motherboard is in there, if you can pop it open and see whats stamped on your motherboard then you should be able to find out the mobo manufacturer and get the bios/drivers off their site.

Also i hope you are using the ATI Rage 128 that came with your machine cause I dont think it will do the job.

ATI rage isnt that video card i have a nvidia geforce 3

k did you find anything on the motherboard that tells you what brand it is??

these stupid gateway and dell bastards like to keep everything so secret.

you may want to just give gateway a call and give them your model number, might be the fastest way.

if your documentation that came with your gateway pc doeas not tell you the manufacture of your components you may have to open the box to identify your items. That's why I build my own sytems, so I know exactly what is in the box

I called gateway and they told me it was a monterry i think i spelled that right!

weird.... i hate premade machines.. uhm sorry man ive never heard of that manufacturer before
