I've had the same trouble with this map too.  I'm on it right now and the only reason I came across this post was because I was looking into problems where people can't load their saved games.  Thanx Ravnox for your clarification on the issue.

While I haven't had as many bugs as some people are claiming to have, I can say that I'm disappointed with Raven's inability to release a game with less bugs than a beta version.    They usually hold up to this very well but this time it seems they could have done a bit more testing and bug fixing before releasing SOF2.  Either way, the game itself is great.  I'm sure it will totally live up to its name after the first patch is released (hopefully soon).    

This fairly random bug has been fixed in the patch. I encountered it running through the game a while back.
