I realize Raven may have its hands full working on the first patch for SOF2, but could somone consider posting a SEED code description list so we can figure out how the RMG can be properly manipulted through the seed code?

May I also suggest that if this question requires an in-depth description, that you consider the number of all the other users interested in the subject and thereby determine whether the number of us warrants the creation of a new message board on Seed coding.

Dude I dont wanna look like I'm suckin up or anything, But thats the best question I've seen yet. I wanna know what each variable is and how it affects the map and also how to tweak each one of these variables so as to achieve "my" perfect map....good one Darth.

not so newbie but yet dont understand the thing abt seed in random map generator as i have been preoccupied by the single player campaign.. but would really love to know what the seed is all about.. and how does it work..

Ah man, I really gotta finish my CTF map for JK2. And what does Raven do, they release a map editor for SOF2. ####, I wanna map for SOF2 as well, but I really need to finish the JK2 map. Argh, maybe I should get rid of my gf => more time ;)

they might not do it cuz a lot of clans will start bitching. They (the clans) probably like this way so maps are fair in clan matches and one team can't manipulate the resuslts. But I agree with u - it would be nice.

I was on a server last night that allowed voting and we all started trying out different seeds for Jungle Daytime Infiltration RMG's.  Here are 3 new Seeds that came out Very cool.  Listed in Coolest to just cool.

A lot of people are remarking on difficulties with RMG infiltrate maps.

Snowy terrain gives you the most open map; desert next; then jungle.  Using a snowy setting will make it more likely that you'll generate an acceptable map for infiltrate, as the terrain will likely have more walkable area.
