The goal of this poll is to show Raven what video cards the people (like me) have that are having the impossible to fix super low frame rate problems.

On this poll I tried to keep a simple list of choices for people.
The most important thing in this case is the basic config of you video card, hence I didnt put specific models like the ti 4200 or 4600 etc.

Are your frame rates only a major problem when you shoot your gun or get shot at.  For me, it I am starring at a wall my frame rate is great, but when I shoot at the wall it chokes big time.

Anyway, a sound card poll would be cool as well.  Seems like tons of folks have a soundblaster live of some sort.

The problem I'm having with SoF2 is not low frames but keeping the game running.  Sometimes, I have no problems getting into the first map (Prague) and going thru it without a problem.  After I go down the ladder into the second sequence, SoF2 hangs at the loading screen and it forces me to alt+tab out to windows and to manually shut down SoF2.

Also, in the options, SoF2 is detecting my vid card as Unknown.  Does anyone know a way around it?

To address your question and to inform people of the specific issue I and others have.
I get a generally low frame rate (30-40 fps) and with any action on screen the frame rate makes a even bigger drop (less than 10 fps).

I have tried all the recommended tweaks, and all my drivers are up to date.

I've also tried running in safe mode and with everything turned all the way down including disabling sound.
Nothing makes a difference what so ever.

change .pk3 to .zip- do your edit then change it back to .pk3-

no problems here. Geforce 3 Ti 500... running the DetXP drivers under win2k.

Just curious how this poll helps.  This poll needs to be matched with whether it is working or not.  Where is the comparison.  I have a TI  but it is working on 12 machines I configured with it also running TI cards.

I know I only get one vote, but what am I voting for?  To say I have a TI video card?
