Mine is set at 25 with a pent 2.0a

I get high rates with no bad guys drop to the 30's in firefights.

Playable kinda but when I play RTCW at over 150 kinda sucks to play this at those levels.

hey anyone with a geforce 3 ti 200 consider overclocking, it worked for me to solve some of my lag issues i set it to core clock 220 and memory clock 450 and i havent ahd any problems you can do this through GeForce Tweak Utility, but yeah i recommend that, those are the safest settings to get the highest change in performance out of.

Ya I have that card and set mine to 220 and 430 had pushed it higher but saw purple marks places on walls and floors.  Like someone spray painted the ground thought it was just something like that in the game untill I saw it in RTCW,  did not think the germans had purp spray paint lol so I nocked it down to 430 on mem.  I was able to get it up to 460 without probs with pixils or heat but like I said had those weird things happen in games.  Carefull at 450 on your mem did lots of searching and most tests came out to 220 and 430.  Depends on card I have the Vision Tek.  Sorry if this is off topic for the rest of ya.

I am just crusing through and felt compelled to post on all of the problems users are having with SOF2.

Personally, I have not had any lag issues (yet, knock on wood), I am running with all details cranked to the max, at 1280X1024.  The only problems have I noticed (and these are only minor and I can live with them) are some visual anomalies such as "blocky" smoke effects, and rain that seems to magically pass through the steel boxes in the first level. The details are all auto-detected with the exception of shadows.  I haven't checked my FPS, but I would imagine I am running at somewhere between 35-45, which to me is acceptable.

The only thing I can't seem to understand is why everyone is comparing this game to RTCW and MOHAA.  Granted, all three of these games run on a modified Q3:TA engine, but I think that Raven has taken it a few steps further.  I think the environmental and enemy textures are MUCH more detailed than they are in RTCW and MOHAA.

I guess I am going to continue playing, and see how things go, but so far no problems.

Take care

sys_cpufeatures is a bitfield defining what extra features your CPU has

1 - Time Stamp Counter
4 - 3DNow!
8 - SSE
16 - SSE2

So a P4 would have 16+8+1 = 25

However, these are not used and altering it should make no difference at all.

That option does nothing though. SOF2 isn't optimized for SSE/3dNow. Did you change something else along with that? Disabling vsync perhaps
