Man my FPS is terrible and i have a top of the line system i have tryed tweaking everything on my GeForce 4 and still its is terribly choppy some people say to play this game in 800x600 res but personaly thats BS i didnt pay 3500 for my system and 50 for this game just to play it in 800x600 res and 16 bit ... comon raven help us ???

Perhaps your system is too tweaked already. I'm a huge AMD fan and run a mere 1400 mhz Athlon and a Gforce 2. 1/2 gig of DDRram and SOF2 runs smooth as silk. Put your system back the way it's supposed to be and I'm sure you will run fine.

S***. 3500 bucks is a lot of money, even for today's hottest newest machines. Including the new 533 Mhz bus offered with the latest P4. What kind of machine do you have exactly? I would assume a custom built by ...................?

Seriously...some kind of patch/fix is needed.  I'm afraid I may have to trade it in for another game by the 28th if there isn't some word of a possible patch, as that is the last day possible for returns.  Plus, I HAVE to trade it in for another game, cause they won't give cash back for opened products  I want to be able to finish this level!

Guys, Please let me know what kind of systems you are running, or what you did to your system to "make it better" As far as I can tell, there is no patch nessecary. C'mon, I run a COMPAQ, the Aho** of machines and it runs perfect. I simply don't understant why you ask for a patch. I believe the answer lies in your windows settings.

So you mean that this game even though it runs 100% perfect in MP, and RandomMAP, but SP causes hard reboots, is a error on our end?

I'm sorry but that makes no sense at all, i would agree with you for the most part if the overall game was slow and buggy, but when its such a odd case as most of us have your answer just doesnt fit in my view.

But thats only a opinion.

I totaly agree with you destrox i realy do not beleive this is a problem on our end at all i have never run across a game that cause the same problems for as many people that are having this same problem as we are.... saying that its our fault is a crummy excuse in my opinion, and im not computer illiterate.

Founan & CO, Gimme a f'n break here..I'm happy for you if you can run the SP game at a respectable rate, but I assure you it is a software issue. Look at the poll...also, myself and others in this forum have observed that framerates barely change between all settings maxed,minimum, or default. (on similar systems. I get the same FPS w/ FSAAX2 and full ansiotropic at 1024/768 as I do with everything off or set to minimum at 640x480. Our end my ass...no pun intended. High-end systems w/ GF4 4400/4600's consistantly stutter and/or underperform with the SP SOF2 game.

Hate to tell ya but I'm running a GForce4 and have had no problems, so far. And that is with the grafx cranked to the max.
