First of all I must say that the game runs like a dream. Speed is not the issue I'm having at the moment. The problem is that in the jungle levels I seem to be the only one in SP that has problems seeing through all the plants. The AI acts like its not even there. Anyone else think this is a little wierd?

Also whats with not firing when prone. I would expect you could do that at the very least with the sniper rifle. I thought the game was going for realism. Last I checked if you were in a wide open space with some sort of rifle (M4, AK74, ect...) you'd lay down on the ground for the following reasons:

1) better accruacy
2) Makes you a harder target
3) If you haven't been seen, you will be harder to see.

Out of those 3 number 3 seems to be the only one that applies. That just urked me a bit and I needed to get it out.

i noticed that too and it is quite frustrating. I read where raven said u could hide in the brush and the ai wouldn't be able to see u. What a load of crap. It affects the in no way what so ever. I also think their reaction times r too fast sometimes.

too fast?  It has been stated before.  If it was easy everyone would complain. If it is too hard everyone complains.  The fact is the game and finishing it is POSSIBLE.

So keep playing the game and be stealthful.  Sometimes in MP I sit in one place for the entire 30 minutes.  The game is about stealth and not getting killed.  Play it as though you only had one life.

Remember, there is no restart button in the jungle.  :s8:  ( added for cosmetics only )

i said sometimes not all the time - besides i appreciate your advice but i'm pretty good a the game and at the mp. I'm sure you're a lot of fun to go up against in mp considering you said YOU CAMP FOR 30 MINS. my gosh that has got to be boring. Wow five kills and one death. Great ratio but didn't do crap for your team.

Wow. Can you also roast marshmallows around a campfire in MP? Your MP style sounds very engaging. :s5:

There are many techniques.  Love them hate them, whatever.
Overcome them if you're able.  Personally I like knowing a good sniper is watching my back.  So that stuff about not doing much for the team, is a crock of S!@#.  Snipers are extremely important in any law enforcement or military (#### even terrorist) engagements.  But if you are the last guy on the team you should move your ass and get the breifcase,or go play deathmatch.

Yeah I find this quite disturbing too. Got killed a couple of times before I fully realised that I cant hide in the bushes. Wheres a patch?

Yeah...right...I see you've never been in the military nor played live wargames of any kind...from my point of view, the game is realisitic, a good soldier can spot a man in a gilli suit ofcourse our hero John isn't in a gilli suit or anything, trust me in unfamiliar terrain the enemy has the advantage.  Anyway, a note if you lie down at the peak of the hill the bad guys will see you though the scrub.  Try lying down in a dip and creeping up.  Besides some issues, low frames, LOS(Line of Sight) issues sniper rifle, bad guys shooting though concrete walls, ect, and the occasional "to desktop" crash, the game is great.

oh please - i know plenty about IMT's and poo-poo. And for the love of it - read the whole post not just part of it. I said it twice - sometimes. SOMETIMES. My gosh do u not grasp sometimes. What i was really refering to was that i have noticed in the sp - not in the rmg, that OCCASIONLY they don't have any delay between "seeing" you and the time they fire accurately. So please - enough with what i don't know or haven't experienced. I'm sure your a real know-it-all though and lord of all games (sarcasm)  :s8:

oh yeah mashiki - if u played the mp and in the jungle you would know how easy it is to hide in the brush so don't give us a bunch of guilli suit crap. Kind of makes u look stupid - in my point of view  :D
