I had to do the whole open the cargo doors mission, at about 1 or 2 fps.  Somehow I managed to do it though.  But with 1.5ghz 512mb sdram and GF3, everything on medium detail, why should it be that way?  This is the second install.  I thought a reinstall would solve the problem.............:(. This game in sp is basically unplayable for me.
Too bad to because I was really enjoying the story.
I read the official support stuff, and they said the game was designed for tomarows hardware.Umm.......if its isn't tomarows hardware yet then how did they get of it to make this game compatible with it?  doesn't it sound more like a fishy pre-apology? This new game is made for vid cards that will hit the market in a year or so?  I feel for you guys that ran out and bought GF4's just for this.  So whats the solution?

The document that is downloadable is running on a 1.7g Dell Laptop with Ultra display, native 1600x1200 with a GeForce 4 440 Go on a 400MB bus with 256M 266 DDR Ram.  

It is also seemless. Both machines are running XP Home Edition.  There is no reason to run pro unless you have TS, ftp or http site and or are running it on a doman.  The pro version comes with ever security aspect unconfigured as well as the password protection and auditing policy.

Home is a much better solution for people at home.  It comes with a Ipsec policy in place and auditing enable as per microsofts requirements which are close to nsa restrictions.  It also allows for workgroup funtionality.

Just an FYI.  The program does run with slimmer settings but they are really good settings.  That machine describes above can handle more.. We are in the process now of figuring out where it peaks.  It just takes lots of time, cause for each setting we add we have to play the game over at what we feel is the most horrific places.

Keep your eyes on the document.  I will probably append it with updates for certain configurations.

And by all means.. remember to turn off mail, your Instant messengers and above all your antiviral software.  Also make sure you defrag your drive daily.

Zerologic, I gave your config a go again, but no change  Thanks for creating that file though.  It'll probably be good for those who are uncertain about specific settings.  Good work

I dont see what everyones problem is!
I have a Gerfoce 3 and play at 1600x1200x32 without any problems.
Solid 40 fps fully loaded.
Without anisotropy of course.
You guys with your Geforce 4's its goota be at your end its not the game.
Maybe MOBO drivers 4 in 1's? Did you install Detonators properly?
My friend with his Gerforce 2 Ultra has no probs either.
I would double and triple check before you go blamin Raven.

you are right, at least with the SP part of the game.  The mp part seems way better, but I do only get blood and no gore. The SP game tho is buggier than thou.
