the sytem requirments on boxes of games need to start reflecting the ACTUAL sys req's of the games the package contains.
this is the equivilant of selling food products with incorrect nutritional information!!!!
im not exactly sure of the legality of the situation but thi sis just another game in  a long line proporting to run smoothly on FANCIFUL requirements... maybe in bizzarro world ,but not in this plane of existence will this game run smoothly on what the box states...........plain and simple....FALSE ADVERTISING
luv to hear everyones opinions on this matter
and though i am bitching,i luv u guys at raven,im just feeling 50 dollars lighter and without a game to play for it so im just alittle bitter...

The game's minimum system requirements were something that was extensively tested; this is how we found that a TNT1 was not acceptable because of it’s poor performance.  The system we found that could run this game at an acceptable FPS was a PIII 450 with 128 MB of ram and a TNT2 video card with 16 MB of video ram.  If you can't launch the game then that’s something else.  Also remember that these are the MINIMUM system requirements to be able to run this game.  If you are at the bare minimum with either RAM, CPU, or video card and are trying to play with everything turned up then of course you are going to see some performance issues.

I'm not quite clear on what your problem is, psycho...are you having problems installing the game? Did it install correctly and it won't run the game? Does the game run and lockup or crash?

And please let us know where you got the '640x480 is how the game should be run'.  No one from Activsion or Raven has said that AFAIK.

I believe the 640x480 recommendation comes from this line:

"Resolution - Play the game in 640x480 resolution.  Cranking the game up higher than 800x600 will
make for huge performance slowdowns and extremely long load times. "

...in the FAQ.

Funny, my 1.4Ghz Tbird and Kyro II are going an okay job.  Its no powerhouse, and I don't have super high res, but it satisifies me.

And that comment about minimum requirements, that what you need just to barely run it.  Not to run it at 1280x1024.

Cut them a break for putting some detail into the game.

EDIT: And I realize I'll get flamed for this, but I don't care.  I'm just expressing my opinions...
