In a little while, MODSonline.com will be closed down for a brief amount of time. During this time, the old Raven forum data will be imported into our own forums. This process should not take more than 30 minutes. While we perform this operation, a notice will be posted on the only available page restating what we are doing. In case you haven't heard, Raven Software has officially shut down their forums. They may not return which means that all of the great information for modding their games would be lost. This includes game such as Soldier of Fortune, Jedi Knight, etc. We at MODSonline do not want to see this resource lost. Therefore, we are merging their forum topics into ours making us a one-stop-shop for said games. Hopefully everything goes well without any incidents. IF so, we'll see you on the other side. hehe.

So there will be more forum topics and tutorials?.. I have never heard of this 'Raven Software'. But from what your saying it seems to be a good asset to the gaming community.

Never heard of Raven?? Their games consist of: - Soldier of Fortune (series) - Jedi Knight (serires) - Quake 4 - Heretic - Star Trek Voyager - plus a few others This merger of forums should add a great amount of resources to this site. That's the goal. ok.. almost ready to go with the move.

There may be a few missing: - I deleted the posts saying that the forum was closing. - I excluded the xmen forums - I deleted a few posts that contained several links to other posts within the forums. Now the 3rd one was a tough choice. However, all the links would have been broken because they lead to links on the old forum which are now very different. narc, if this is the post you are referring to, then let me know. I can post it back and we can reconstruct the links. If you are referring to another post, then I can look for it. Give me more details. I still have ALL of the old threads. The rest just have to be manually added. I will do so on request and work out the details later.

Hrmmm the original board has been nuked already, so I hope we got the whole DB We need a way to find posts for specific dates, an important thread that should be stickied is in the DB somewhere and I know it was made on or near jan 14th 2003 by apoxol~rb -- yea this one was a sticky post with links to the important threads and I was going to reconstruct it from the topic titles. also a single post is missing from mechanodroid~rb inside one of the threads you have stickied already foyle. edited on Dec. 23, 2006 06:54 pm by narc

can you give me an idea of what the subject of the post was in both cases? I will look for the matches and tell you what I find. OH... and the forum it would have been located within?

The only 2 forums I was worried about are the MP and SP Modding forums, if you can find out from the DB which posts were stickies in each of those we can recreate them. In the MP forum they had only 1 sticky with links to all the important posts, but in the SP one he had about 4 or 5 seperate sticky posts.
