Hey im very new to mapping and i hav created a few maps wich support DM. When we go to play them though all the people spawn at the same place so people camp and spawn kill. How the hell do i get more spawn points in my map lol. ive tryed clicking mp dm spawn 2 times but it doesnt work.

Help would be really appreciated.

hey mate it sounds to me as

1 you have not set up your folders correct and

2 maybe you should try again go into the mapping tool open up your map in radiant put arrow on 2d grid and right click go to mp then in there should be a list of about 7 different spawns like intermission spawn

deathmatch spawn
teamdeathmatch spawn


if they are not there then you have not set up your folders correctly

Yer i do have those things, ty 4 responding so quick aswell.

but i can only make 1 spawnpoint and one intermission

well you only need one intermission so leave that now

next open up editor and click on the dm spawn in your map i am thinking its a red box now that you have the dm spawnpoint highlighted then click space bar and this will duplicate the dm spawn point then deselect the old dm spawn point and move the new one somewhere else keep doing this over and over and you will have many dm spawn points also still remembering that you should place it 1 unit away from any thing in your map...

Hey, ty so much u explain it to me as if im noob, whih i very well am :D lol.

hey mate

thats what we are all here for to help other guys out or girls if so be it..

but i remember coming on here and asking the same new questions and guys were posting stuff i never knew ...like pk3 files zipping up and adding a gsc file and csv files and scripting aI and stuff and i was sitting there thinking that was no help so i try to give you the answer so u can walk away saying to your self i know exactly what he is talking about..

its what the forum is for ..

hehehhe using the lingo already (pm)

up the top of your page under your membership there is another black bold writing that says

MESSAGES just run your arrow over it and when its highlighted click it then you will go to your messages and that way you can send and check any received ones
