This is become a pain.

I have a dual boot with:

Windows XP Media Center Dutch language and
Windows XP Pro Corporate English language.

When i open my .csv in Media Center Dutch it looks ok.

But when i open the same .csv file with office while running
Windows XP Pro English it looks like this?

Anyone nows which settings to change?

I have noticed that with Microsoft Office Word uses other settings for english and dutch versions also.
I guess inches ?

Any help much appreciated.

mate here is a easier way i use..

just drag your csv to your desktop ok ...then rename it yourmapname .txt

now its changed to a textfile then you can add to it or do whatever and then when ya finished mate just rename it yourmapname.csv and then throw into your main maps mp folder...

will that work

No need to move the file from it's current location or change anything after the fullstop (period), just right click the .csv and select "open with" from the drop down and select Notepad, wordpad or any other text editor you prefer. [casanova]

It is not recommended to use Wordpad, because Wordpad adds service data to files - it is not good. Use Notepad.[wave]

Thanks all for the fast replies.

[thumbs_up]

I did that with the .txt extension.

But for some reason with the english language version of windows it looks like it is screwed up.

If i take the same .csv to my dutch language version of
windows it looks fine.

While it looks ok in the .txt file on both english and dutch
language version of windows.

The same problem occurs with Microsoft Word with printing
documents.

I guess in the english version marges are different for english
version and dutch.

Maybe i have to create them seperatly if i work with english version?

OMG maybe have to get sober first.
