Dont bother with AV, just get a decent firewall, and you'll be fine.

i find that NOD32 AntiVirus is very good as it uses very little system resorces, 20MB ram and i dont notice any difference when playing games when its on or off. i usually play cod uo and i have max fps set to 1000 (same for cod2), the game runs fine (btw when ya hav 400+ fps (like in railyard in one of the office thingys)you start to walk weird and faster than usual) i have a nVidia Ge-Force 7900GTX 512MB gfx card and the highest ever fps i got is 820
