I have NO idea how to make a map at ALL im just a kid who plays COD2 and wants to make a map can somone give me an idea how to actually make a map and put stuff on it? ty

Go to the Call of Duty Tutorials section first. Read all the tutorials. Goto to the Call of Duty Forum. Read the posts to get ideas and answers. Goto to the Call of Duty 2 Tutorials section and read them all. Goto the Call of Duty 2 forum and read the posts. now you will be at a point to be able to start mapping. As with anything you have to read as much info first, this will save you tons of wasted time later. Good luck.

First - Please post in the correct forum. Second - Spike did answer your question and to be honest if you've read and seen the videos and tuts you should be on your way to mapping. Third - PMing the Admins on subjects that have already been answered isn't the way to go about doing things around here. Take some time and really go through the videos and tuts and the forums as all your questions are in these mediums. Cheers

Start with the good old simple room, which will teach you how to make brushes, texture, place spawns and lights and how to test it. From there you can play around with making bigger creations. Don't worry if your first few maps aren't pieces of art, send them to your friends to test for you and get their opinions. Not all the answers are in the tutorials, but thats what the forums are for. So good luck, and welcome to the community!
