I understand that you are confused about installing and starting the tools. Please note the helpful tutorials links on the left as well as the search features on the top and sides of this site. Although almost all of the members here really do enjoy helping others learn to map, they also like to help those that are able to help themselves. By that I mean, explore the links and tutorials. Then, when you have a specific question, please ask that specific question. You will find the forums and those that serve in them are able to help you better and more quickly.

Very nicely said foyleman, dont think anybody really could have put it better. Try to get yourself sorted with a plan in the meantime -Download Cod2 mod tools (Everything you need to map is found in here) -Look at the cod2 tutorials on the left hand side of the page, (try to look at the getting started ones) -Download Foylemans video tutorial, it will teach you how to get started (A basic box) -Follow the tutorial, (It should be put in understandable terms, if your confused then pm me... Ill be glad to help) -Look at the tutorials about xmodels (Tanks and stuff) -Start exploring for yourself, you'll soon get to love and hate Radiant. You can do basically anything you set your mind to, there are limitations of course. If you have any problems, try to look at them in a logical way and come up with a solution. Then if you are still confused, ask the experts here. -Good luck with your mapping Any problems after youve made a basic map with an xmodel in it, pm me Maybe see ya on the battlefield sometime ((\|DZ\|))Bounce

Oh, you might be able to download it from Download.com . Just do a search for 'CoD2 Mod Tools' or just plain 'Call of Duty 2' and you should get a result for the Mod Tools.
