I downloaded QPed 2.11, and it's giving me an error (The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS) message everytime I attempt to install it. Is there anyway to fix this? or another version of Qped available? thanks. I've began doing artwork for a SOF mod I'm making and am trying to import the files into the PAK file. Also, I have Winpak but everytime I try to load pak0 it says Error loading pak file. help me out, thx.

yeah pakscape is giving me the ol' "error loading pak file" message.. but for some reason i can open it in winpak? but i noticed winpak doesnt let you modify the pak file... I already have all the textures/skins extracted into the base/ghoul etc.. folder.. but when I edit them they don't show up in the game, any advice for getting the textures to work in game without making a pak file yet?

stupid me.. i forgot the Ghoul folder doesn't go in the Base folder.. the textures are somewhat showing up.. I edited the Comskin/arms_sleeve file but its not showing up.. any help? it's been a while since i Edited SOF. BTW, I will have a site up soon with info on the mod, should be interesting.

If you are modifying existing textures you should put the textures in "USER" folders

user/ghoul etc

This will be the same in the pak you produce

I use QPed to view a pak and Pakscape to create a pak [thumbs_up]

got it. thx bruddah.. I'm planning on making this more of a Total Conversion than a Mod. should be fun, also, I take it I have to open the model file of a character/player to edit/remove boltons?
