hey i wanted to make a mod and sorta got the gist of it but im not sure how to add new cmds for admin/ players can anyone help me out?

I recommend the book "Focus on MOD programming in Quake 3 Arena", by Shawn Holmes. SOF2 is based on Q3A so that's the best bet to learn.

multiplayer or singpleplayer mod? i wouldnt mind taking part in a mod team.. i was actually gonna move my mod from SoF1 to SoF2 being it seems more flexible

There was a huge backlash from the mod community towards Raven after SoF. When they didn't release the SoF1 updated source code for instance a lot of mods broke, they never released the SDK tools, they ignored questions put towards them about these things... For SoF2 they released _almost_ all the required tools and assets, you can't add new animations to the player model though, that's the only thing you can't really do in SoF2 since we don't have the xsi files. They have said in the past it's like 2GB worth of files and they just don't want to upload them... that's one of the main reasons the Red Orchestra mod team ditched SoF2.

lol narc i didnt know any of that but yea sim its sof2 mod so if ur interested i could use an expirenced modder since im a newb to it

its an admin mod im calling metal mod and i just could use someone who has already worked on a mod so if u wanna be on the mod team i can add u to the site im working on.
