thanks for that, i am getting the E6400 version of the intel core 2 duo, its got twice as much memmory as amd has, and runs a tad faster for £30 more so hey why not, just need to save up money now, lol ineed about £600 :( any 1 else got an intel allready and let me know what u think of it lol

just a little info on the DDR2 for AMD skt. AM2, with the DDR2 being double speed of DDR, the FSB (front side bus) is half the speed for the processor. FSB for skt. AM2 is 1000MHz but with skt. 939 its 2000MHz. and fastest DDR is 400MHz and fastest DDR2 is 800MHz (well, there is 1GHz DDR2, but thats very expensive and not common), so there isn't much difference in performace between AM2 and 939... but i think the FX-62 is in AM2
