i've read all the posts on the hunc_alloc failure and i upped my hunkmegs to 75% of my card which is 2 gig ... i took the hunks up to 1500 but then the game wouldnt even start ... i got to the last compile of my latest map and i tried it all and it was fine ... all i did was added a screenshot for the load up and all hell broke lose with the hunk error .. has anyone got any ideas before i sell my pooter to the red headed spoilt child down the road for a song lol....

p.s i might have another clue for you... i can start the server up if i dedicate it to the internet and i can get in it but if i try to start an "in game" server up to test the map i get this error message

Ohh man that is the worst error that you can possibly get, I'm pretty sure it means you failed to properly optimise the map. You need to get the r_speeds down to a more reasonable level then that problem should go away. Depending on how you built this map, fixing it can range from easy to impossible. -- I can take a look at the problem if you want, I will be on msn.

thanxs so much narc that is so kind of you mate.... i added you but i'm not gonna hound you ...i know you are a busy guy but i would love to try and get this map out tho ... i'm not doing anymore to it i was only adding different gametypes and a load up screenie when it went crazy on me lol

Bah, msn keeps deleting my email acct. for not signing in, but if you see me on msn send a msg there's never been a map error that I couldn't fix.
