Are you sure you don't have any brushes hidden in the editor?

in radiant check your filters if all brushes are visible if they are well there was another topic around here somewhere a few days (maybe weeks) ago wasn't really following it but maybe they've found a solution there

When you join two brushes, the edges need to meet up percisely on each other, or they will disappear. To correct it, you need to go back into radiant and line up the edges of the wall with the top cap and make sure all corners line up. That is why it is always best to use the snap to grid from start to finish.

some of the filters were un ticked, but when i ticked em all nothing changed, also the road is perfectly welded together, as for the field iel re make it, but for the wall i have never had any probs before, the wall is just solid pieces of caulk with a texture on it, but some xmodels are poking through them, is that effecting it all ?

fair enough i saw that yesterday lol, but not the happy erver after ending, this bit:

OK figured it out. It turns out to be a topology problem in the end. I lined up the ends of the blocks that I was using for the concrete blocks with any verts or edges on the patches. Once that is done, it all came out OK.

wha?!?

less technical meaning please??

It's basically saying that the person who made that post melded the wall and the terrain vertecis and edges together
