hi guys, i compiled up the motar off of Ricsta Tut on mortars
i am having troubles with the sound, i created a sound file etc.. copy and pasted, (im no guro lol) and every thing works but the sound! and it looks very nice :) cheers Ricsta

i dont know if its something with the sound file, i saved it as the csv file, and put it in the soundaliases folder, etc...

Here is the code, i dont know alot about adding sounds etc, so your helped would be great!

Do you put it into one cell, or seperate, im nobbie at it lol

Try seperating so the script is easier to
read and evaluate :)
I cant really tell whats what in that script atm

you didn;t specify in the .csv file that the sound needs to be played in your map; where you see stand "mp_mortar_map" needs to be "mp_yourmapnamehere". if you change that in both aliases the sound should play in your map.

change this:
incoming_mortar,,Explosions/artillery_incoming01.wav,1,1,,1,1,5000,6000,auto,streamed,,,,mp_mortar_map,,,,

explosion_ground,,Explosions/Mortar_dirt01.wav,1,1,,1,1,5000,6000,auto,streamed,,,,mp_mortar_map,,,,

so your mapname stands there =)

ahhh got it working, hour of learning then typing it all up in the excel and bingo, sounds a comming haha, cheers guys for your help, if any one need the excel file just pm me,
