a drain pipe? As in like the ones on the sides of buildings? I'm pretty sure those are meshes.

Its a patch mesh like you use for terrain only make it a clyinder. If you have any trouble making it load a prefab and than while it is selected click in your grid and you will be able to enter the prefab to see exactly how they made it or even just copy it.
