PFB_Carentan Updated + Mod friendly

I got alot of e-mails regarding PFB_Carentan and although I wasnt going to provide support as it was a clan map... it will now be a totally 'public' map and will be (hopefully) mod friendly.

But lets get this striaght - This is not a 'fix' this is a new MAP as it has alot more detail and some added FX that will change the gameplay.

I started to change the map today but pretty confident I can fix/finish it tonight.

Fixed:
1. Pavement Lighting
2. Sounds scripts
3. German House Alpha Blend
4. DM spawn clash

Added:
1 . Window details
2. Wall exploders
3. New house Interior/exterior
4. New lighting
5. Dust FX

(My) avg FPS in the map is: DX9: 105
DX7: 400

Removed added Weapons and changed American spawn for better performance - Also German spawn has been improved.

p.s

Some server admins have told me about mods they would like to run on this map, if anyone else wishes to use a mod they must suggest so soon so that I can test the map with it before release.

The Axis Offensive

After siezing Carentan the Allies have set up defenses and prepare for the Axis Counter attack.

The map is set at Night and looks beautiful, lighting has been adjusted so it is not too dark but dark enough to run hide for the old "boo!" tactic.

Axis must attack the now American held positions at Carentan... objectives include a Sherman and a fuel dump. (as of now)

Any suggestion/comments are very much welcomed I want to make sure that both maps are final versions and so I want to get things right.

can't wait for the singleplayer version :) the screens you send me a couple of months ago were great :D

They were pretty cool - I had a problem with a sherman tank that gave me a seriously lack of single player inspiration for a while but i'm trying to work around it ... I know my Co-mapper Wolf had a great test level of tanks and jeeps fighting - maybe that will feature in one of the maps, it was soo cool

Me and Wolf are co-mapping Pavlov, and I'm finishing Carentan while hes doing Storfjord. I would say they will all be ready when Pavlov is finished, and that will be another 2-3 days. As for single player carentan, it may take another week or two as i am now thinking of changing the level to be a bit more Band of Brothers.

Glad to hear the Carentan map is almost done. I've been looking forward to it since I contacted you in your PFB forums please shoot me a few lines when its done can't wait take it for a ride.
