when i try yo run my mp map i keep getting this error reads as follows: iwd/name mismatch: i cleaned out my floder and nothing. pls help

arent iwd's in cod2??? and make sure u dont remove iw_00 to iw_15 (think thats how many there are) nor the localized_english_0 to localized_english_9 (again.. think thats how many) other than that idk

Check even outside your main folder that there is no mods, check your main folder for custom .iwd's and make sure n omaps or whatnot you may have in your folders dont have spaces or special characters. Try to keep them to letters, numbers, and simple characters like the ones above the numbers. Since this is in teh UO section, I think .iwd = .pk3. Im not sure on this, its been awhile. .iwd is for COD2, .pk3 would be for all other games on the Q3 engine. edited on Nov. 1, 2006 10:45 pm by amishthunder
