Gamespot (and several other sites) are reporting that the one and only JT has issued a "Cease and Desist" notice against Midway games for Mortal Kombat: Armeggedon.
He believes that one of the characters bears a resemblance to his good (sic) self, and he does not like the idea that he is being represented in the game.
This is the crux of the order ...
"It has today come to my attention that the newly recently [sic] Mortal Kombat: Armageddon contains an unauthorized commercial exploitation of my name, photograph, image, and likeness within the game," ... "You are commanded to cease and desist immediately from the distribution of this game because of this unauthorized, illegal content."

However ... it seems that the character JT is referring to, is one suggested by GamingTarget in their article on how to create new characters using the "Kreate A Fighter" mode and is not a fighter that is pre-coded in the game. The article can be found here (

So, basically, somebody has created a character from the inbuilt character building tools from MK:A that pokes fun at JT, and now he wants Midway to C&D with distribution!!
Never a dull moment with JT, and it will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
