I've made some custom textures for a map i'm working on.
In radiant, in the texture list, they are ok. I can read the tekst in
the custom textures. But at the moment i use them on a brush or patch.. the textures becomes reflected(mirrored).. so i see the tekst of the signs like i'm looking at them in a mirror. For a brush, i can tweek the texture in the minus position so i comes readeble again.. but for a patch this does'n work.. Is there a way in radient to mirror a texture? Or should i just mirror the images in Photoshop so they come up correct in radient.

I'm not sure if this will work but...have you tried the "invert" option?[confused]

yes.. but the point is.. when u created a pipe.. using invert will cause to put the texture on the inside and not on the outside of the pipe because u invert the whole patch

When you make your cylinder, select it, then go to Patch >Thicken. Make it as thick as you want. Check Seams or not.

Or, you can select your cylinder, pres Space to copy it, place it exactly in the same place as the other, then go to Patch > Matrix > Invert.

that is not the problem.. i want the texture to be on the ouside..
and the texture is on the ouside.. but the problem is the texture itself..

if i look in the texture list i see my texture with the text
alcohol, but when i put it on the patch of the cillinder
the texture is inverted...
so the tekst shows up as lohocla

this also happens when i place it on a brush, mesh or patch...
the strange thing is just that in the texture list it shows up correctly
but not when i'm using it.

figured it out.. but still find a bit odd...
Made a cilinder..
Put the texture on it,
flipped the y-axis
and then the invert matrix.
To finish it, a 180 degree rotation.

so thanks for pointing in the right direction..
but it's not only invert..

it's flip y-axis and then patch>>matrix>>invert
