A patch is now available for Battlefield 2142. Read on for links and a description. This patch fixes client-side crashes with the titan game mode. Download There are also updates on unranked server files which can be downloaded for: Linux Windows So they had to patch the game because it crashes client-side huh? Where do I remember this from I wonder. I hope they don't start as they mean to go on.

I haven't had time to play.. only install. The process was to launch the game, see a notification to download and install the patch, accept via the notification, the game minimizes and the EA downloader starts up. My buddy, minutes before me, found out that you don't want to install the patch with the game running in the background. When he did, his game exe disappeared from his system. I decided, after that, to close the game before installing the patch and did not have other issues as well. I think I'll get to play on Thursday so maybe will have more to report then.

I went during lunch break to look for this baby with my girlfriend... they didn't have it at Virgin Records, CompUSA, or Best Buy... what the! They weren't sold out, they just didn't have it nor even heard of it. I got frustrated so we decided to visit the EA Chicago studio.
