Sorry for being such a noob, but I followed the tuts to the letter when I created the loadscreen for my map. Initially all was well, untill I loaded COD2 and the loadscreen was badly stretched (elongated).
Have I done something wrong?
Has anybody else come up against the same problem?
I would apreciate any help you can give.

I had the same problem with my loading screen, and came up with this convoluted solution, while messing about a bit

1. get your loading screen image in 1280x1024
2. Resize it to 1024x1024
3. Save it as something.
4. Create a blank canvas thats 1280x 1024 and colour it black.
5. Copy your first image onto the black canvas, making it central.
6. Resize the whole thing to 1024x1024
7. Convert to dds and iwi, etc

Bingo! a non squashed image.

Mine looked something like this:

Well, it worked for me ;)

Although the pic link seems to have stopped working, try this one:

ALternativly you could just copy perdros picture and resize your own normal sized thing so that it covers all but the black bit. nice work pedro and well done on the extra advertising for our map.

the other thing to try out is altering the resolution and just the basic size of your canvas... its all experimental, practice makes perfect, and studdy other loadscreens see how they have took them and just basicly prat about m8.
