Howdy all!

I compiled my map and have been testing it fine on my computer, in both my pure mapping CoD2 folder and my regular game play folder. I e-mailed the .d3dbsp file to my clan admin and when he attempted to load the map, he keeps getting an iwd/sum mismatch error. We placed the file into the /main/maps/mp folder, turned off pure, etc. and when he types the mapname into the console, he gets the error. Any thoughts?

I had this recently but it was slightly stranger. I had some custom maps on my PC which I had downloaded and play-tested. They worked fine.

However, at a later point they started reporting the same error as above and I couldn't play them. Strange because I hadn't patched the system or anything between plays ?

*now going to search for the other thread to hopefully find the solution to this ;)

The most likely reason is you auto-downloaded additional maps that started conflicting. The downloads could have been quick and would not have required you to do anything other than log on to the server.
