Does anyone know if it is possible to have explosions in the water..like mortars hitting the water. Is there an effect for this and is it possible to script so I can have it happen randomly. Thanks, Rake

just change the .efx file name in the script to that of a water explosion one

Yes, very possible.. Just script it like you would script the mortar hitting dirt... just use a different effect. Now.. the problem here is, I'm not sure there is a water explosion effect in CoD2. If not you've got to either make your own or alter the bullet impact one (there is a tutorial on resizing effects in the CoD section).

In iw_07 you will find a water explosion. \fx\explosions\dock_explosion.efx

or even fx/explosions/mortarExp_water.efx if you want one a mortar one.
