I cant get a loadingscreen to work. Has any1 else had trouble with making loadingscreen with adobe CS2, or any1 got it to work?
Ok a few things im unsure on: 1024-this is pixels right?
1024-(same)
For the resolution is it pixels per inch or pixcels per cm?
RGB 8bit?
all these settings ok? im sure I got the rest right.

yea sorry I mean 72 but I have another option also: resolution cm/inch. I thought it might mess it up being wrong?

I got mine to work by naming it without the mp_ in the name. Example: Blah, instead of mp_Blah. Name your map Blah as well.

Reading the tutorials I tried naming mine mp_mapname, but after opening a few iwd files on really nice maps, I saw they just have a map name.

Thanks, the problem was I had named it loadingscreen_............
rather that loadscreen_............
Can any1 help me out, im searching for commands to make the spectator writing disappear and the other writing on screen to take my pic for the loadscreen?

Open the console, open your map using /devmap mp_yourmapname
then, in the console again write /cg_draw2d 0

one thing i can tell you about naming it loadinscreen_mp_mapname is that when you name it that, that is the image that will appear when the game is loading the map (the fullscreen image while loading). if you go thru all the same steps to creating that one, making the gdt file and all that, if you name it loadscreen_mp_mapname then it will show that image in the map selection screen when choosing a map (the small picture when u click on the map u want a server to run for example)
