i wouldnt report him coz who cares if ppl are stupid enougth to pay him for them, after all he has had to put the effort in making the disks and listing the adverts

foyleman writes...Quote: Not cool.
If you wanted to, I think you could report this to ebay and have it removed for copyright infringement. Remember, he is selling something that he didn't create and profiting from something that is not his.
I don't think this is legal.
I agree with foyleman, this is just some cheap guy, I cant believe that is even legal. But he does have a nice shop lol, but not right
PS like qrz people spend so much time making mods and maps for fun and other peoples enjoyment. Im sure they dont think that other people will sell there maps and mods for money. Wise advice any time of you make maps/mods put a copyright on there, take that guy to court

There's probably some loop hole to it, like he gives due credit to the creators somewhere on the disc.
He could claim you're paying for the CD/DVD and labor of gathering all the mods/maps onto it, not for the actual content.
I must say, the case looks well done, so does the CD/DVD. ![[jumping]](images/BBCode/smilies/jumping.gif) |

Well he does have this little bit of fine print:
Quote: No charge has been made for the mods or maps on this disc, the fee charged for this disc is to cover the costs of making the disc and for the convenience of having everything in one place and the time it has saved you having to find and download all the items on the disc
That basically says right there that he's not selling the content of the disks. So technically he's giving it away for free, but you pay for the media. I'm not sure if that's morally right but I don't think he's technically doing anything wrong. |
