I might try that. But actually, right now I haven't had an trouble making a mpa latley, but mabey it's because I haven't textured anything yet.

well I did what the first sugestion said and I put my mods back but it's still downloading the maps over again when I try to play...

Blindside......I think the options have been laid out.

1. You can turn off downloading and probably not play the MP maps on the server.

2. You can allow downloading and delete or move the custom maps before you start radiant. I built a script to do that automatically. Move them back again to play without redownloading.

3. You can follow Filbert's recommendation and point your shortcut to a special folder.

4. Or you can install a second CoD2 app on a different partition.

I use option #2. Use the option that works best for you.

I did the 2nd thing you listed but when I put the folder with all my maps back into the main folder and tried to play on the server it downloaded them again.

Don't put the folder with the maps in your main directory, put the maps themselves in the directory.

If you ARE putting the maps (and NOT the folder) back in place, then you must be downloading different versions.
