So the time came for me to make my iwd file, I followed the instructions in the iwd creation tut. I have done the same in the past without a problem, however this time around i must have missed something out or done something wrong as my map does not appear on the start new server list.

my iwd contains the following:

images - loadscreen_mp_cawcutts.iwi

maps - mp - loadscreen_mp_cawcutts.csv
mp_cawcutts.d3dbsp
mp_cawcutts.gsc

materials - loadscreen_mp_cawcutts

mp - mp_cawcutts.arena

I wasnt sure whether to include the .d3dprt file in the iwd as it went unmentioned in the tut, however i have experimented with and without the file to no success.

I am using winrar which it is said in the tut can cause errors, could this be the reason? I havent had problems with winrar in the past.

Help please someone?

I never have problems with creating .iwd's with WinRar.
Can you post your .arena file so we can take a look at it.

problem solved, i rewrote my arena file. thanks for pointing me in right direction

Damn now i've got a loadscreen issue. It's like a battle trying to get this map completed

So whats the score when your loadscreen shows up in the small picture on the start new server screen but not when the maps actually loading?

i found that one reason this could happen is if you have a space in your line.
levelbriefing, mp_cawcutts
check your csv it there should be no space after the comma
levelbriefing,mp_cawcutts

give that a try and see what happens
