Apparently, Jack Thompson spends his afternoons sending complaints to websites that have anything good to say about the games produced by Rockstar. Grumpy, from Grumpy Gamer , got his hands on an advanced copy of the game Bully. He wrote a review that really didn't say anything bad about the game. Now JT is sending him hate mail.

It's really quite funny what Jack is writing. I highly recommend you checking out to see what a joke this guy really is.

Good read and it just confirms what I said in another post. He's a waste of good air.

That just shows how misguided Jack Thompsons "cause" really is... Not only is he a hypocrite but he is claiming that these games are corrupting children... The games are certificate 18 for f**ks sake (over here in the UK anyway) and kids really shouldn't be playing them... Why doesnt he go and attack movies instead of just games? If anyone is naive it is him for thinking that he is actually working for a good cause and "protecting children from violence" when all he is doing is destroying the games industry (I personally think this is his true intent)... The disturbing thing is that he actually has supporters... All I can say is thank god I live in the UK where anyone like Jack Thompson would be locked up in a padded cell & given 24 hour psychiatric care... Over here in the UK the general attitude is that if you cant stand the content then dont play the game, end of... Hot Coffee was even discussed by political figures (if im not mistaken) in the USA yet here in the UK it wasnt even a minor news story... A bit of extra sex in a game filled full of sex, drugs and violence is hardly shocking or serious, especially given the fact that the game is rated 18 anyway... People like Jack Thompson are not only killing the games industry in America, but the rest of the world too since the bulk of the games industry is based in America... Also, I am not religious (in fact im an atheist) but I think that anyone likening themself to Jesus and using their apparent Christian faith as permission to insult others and brainwash people into following their fatally flawed "cause" against video games is just sickening (and to some even offensive)...

Rant over... [sniper]

Shame you guys have to share the same air that man breaths. I'm sure our air ain't tainted around this side of the globe! Then again, maybe he is the reason the ozone layer keeps getting thinner!

I may be a christian but in no way would I compare myself to Jesus ever or insult others for not believing what I believe. There are people out there in the faith that only look at the parts they think are important, and frankly they should not bother anyone with what they have to say. Just a waste of a good breathe.

And dont get me started on politics, freaking hate those people, a waste of tax money if you ask me.

But since this is not a place to discuss that back to the main topic. As so many of the Europeans ( Im an american) have put it, if you dont like the content then dont play the freaking game. But do not go on a crusade to try and destroy something that other people enjoy playing. You have every right to keep YOUR kids from playing the game but you arent not the "GLOBAL POLICE" to be going around and telling others what they can and can not play or see. My take on it, who freaking cares they are eventually gonna see that stuff anyways . . . may not be that moment but maybe a year down the road or sooner . . . you cant stop them from being curious.

From one christian to another (JT), the first recorded murder in human history is in the Bible, Cain kills Abel (Genesis 4).

Now call me niave but I don't think video games were around then. However, because I'm a gamer, my brains have been scrambled and I don't know diddily-squat. I'm sure JT will be able to prove conclusively that Cain had been an avid fan of these murder simulators, played them constantly on his PlayStation BC, and Rockstar were directly to blame for Abels death too.
